With the backing of Prismaflex International, Prismaflex South Africa was started in 2000 by Warren Williams and Nico Marais. Providing the full range of Prismaflex International products, Prismaflex South Africa has grown into one of South Africa's leading providers of billboards, signage, banding, print, LED as well as fleet and truck branding solutions.
Prismaflex South Africa, through being part of the wider Prismaflex International Group, has the unique position of being able to provide to the Southern African market world leading international products, services and solutions with global support and benefits.
Prismaflex South Africa is one of the subsidiaries that undertakes the full range of group activities, being the provision of hardware (outdoor and indoor signs, structures and frames), grand format printing, fleet and truck branding, as well as LED screen manufacture, assembly, integration and supply.
Prismaflex South Africa has over the years developed into one of the leading Prismaflex International subsidiaries, with the result that three of the groups ten subsidiaries are managed by South Africans. No mean feat in a worldwide organisation with turnover of more the one billion rand per year.

Together with its own hardware products, Prismaflex South Africa supplies a wide variety of the Prismaflex International hardware and street furniture product ranges, including items such as tri-visions, city lights, billboards, structures, etc…
WIDE FORMAT PRINTING
Prismaflex is one of South Africa's leading grand format print providers, with a large range of wide format digital printing presses capable of small, medium and large print runs. Finishing and machining operations (cutting, grommet setting, sewing, welding, folding, packaging, etc.) are also part of our expertise and the integration of the group's international resources and buying power is yet another of our competitive advantages.
LED & DIGITAL BILLBOARDS, DISPLAYS AND SCREENS
Prismaflex South Africa is a leading supplier of digital LED screens and displays to the Southern African market, including the Prismatronic SMD and THD modules, BBM control system and software, LED screen assembly and integration as well as consulting, service and support.
Through being part of and benefiting from Prismaflex International Group's R&D, product development, controlled manufacturing, buying power, supply chain, expertise and backup, Prismaflex South Africa is unique in being a global LED solutions provider with local installation, service and support.
A BRIEF HISTORY OF PRISMAFLEX SOUTH AFRICA
- 2000 : South African subsidiary formed to provide the global range of signage and framing solutions to the Southern African market, including the world leading Rigiflex fast flighting system, the Trivision product range, Scrollers, Billboards and more
- 2001 : Creation of the local Grand Format Printing division
- 2007 : Introduction of LED Screens and sales to Southern African market
- 2015 : Introduction of the Prismatronic LED range of modules and screens to Southern African market
- 2017 : Creation of Trucking Division to provide branding solutions to the fleet and trucking market
- 2019 : Introduction of the popular C14 LED modular frame enabling local manufacturing of numerous LED parts as well as integration of Prismaflex's world leading Prismatronic LED modules into locally assembled LED screens
- 2020 : Increased LED range with Sofia LED signs for “smart” cities
- 2020 : Introduction of world leading BBM2 LED modules and control system to Southern African market
